reVolver Podcasts and Univision Communications Inc. (UCI) announced a strategic partnership to bring listeners and partners more exclusive Spanish-language audio content and expanded advertising opportunities.
reVolver Studios, a division of reVolver Podcasts, will produce custom content for UCI, leveraging the company’s portfolio of brands and talent. The collaboration is a part of UCI’s continued expansion into the digital audio space and will allow it to build on its existing podcast offerings already available on the recently launched Uforia Audio On-Demand platform. With the new, integrated sales and programming platform, UCI’s and reVolver Podcasts’ talent gain the opportunity to enhance their brand, as well as extend their reach and conversation into the digital world.
“We are excited to partner with UCI to bring best-in-class Spanish-language audio content across entertainment, news, finance, true crime stories, sports and more, to new audiences and advertising partners. Together, we will harness the reach of our platforms and brands to bring listeners more of the content we know they love,” said Jack Hobbs, President of reVolver Podcasts.
“The partnership with reVolver will allow us to leverage our brands, talent, promotional power and advertising base to bring new content for our audience and new opportunities to our clients.” added John Eck Chief Local Media Officer at Univision Communications Inc.
To maximize content and revenue opportunities between both companies, reVolver co-founder, Stephen Hobbs joins Univision as vice president of audio and experiential initiatives. In this newly created role, Stephen will work to deliver content, promotion and revenue opportunities to the Uforia platform thru reVolver's original content strategy.
