The Spanish language campaign mirrors Bud Light’s general market work, “Famous Among Friends,” which focuses on the moments big and small spent with friends while drinking Bud Lights. This marks the second consecutive year that Bud Light breaks a Spanish-language ad during the Super Bowl.
The 30-second spot titled, Orígines, celebrates the brand’s proud Mexican roots from the region of Jalisco. The Spanish-language spot draws inspiration from the rich cultural values that make Jalisco so famous like its food, arts, mariachi and other traits. This marks the first-time ever that Estrella Jalisco is featured in a Super Bowl ad.
