TelemUndo Global Studios introduces inaugural class of scriptwriters

Telemundo Global Studios (TGS) introduced the inaugural class of its innovative TGS Fellowship Program, the first-ever premier professional development project for scripted content producers in Hispanic media. The first-of-its-kind program is dedicated to ushering the next generation of Spanish-language scripted producers and attract and develop the most talented early career producers, providing a comprehensive fast-paced scripted media immersion program that will create a dedicated pipeline of future producers at TGS.  The intensive 18-month long program will deliver a comprehensive curriculum providing a 360-degree immersion encompassing business development, production and distribution of Spanish-language television.

“We are incredibly excited to kick-off the TGS Fellowship Program with a unique group of talented producers who have been carefully selected to benefit from this unique professional development experience,” said Fabrizio Alcobe, Senior Vice President of Talent at TGS. “As the largest producer of Spanish-language scripted content in the US, we will provide these fellows with the absolute best education to usher the next generation of Spanish-language content creators.”

The selected fellows went through a rigorous interview process.  Throughout the program, fellows will rotate into different TGS productions based on the needs of the business and each fellows’ interests.
