Transitions Optical launches Spanish-Language Online Web Series “Estilo a Primera Vista”

Transitions Optical, Inc. announced a three-part web series entitled “Estilo a Primera Vista.”  Hosted by celebrity stylist Irma Martinez, the webisodes are designed to encourage U.S. Hispanics to embrace eyewear as a stylish accessory that can enhance their look, as well as their vision.

“We know that U.S. Hispanics care about style and how they look to the world,” said Patience Cook, Director, North America Marketing, Transitions Optical. “But we also know they have higher rates of preventable vision loss and eye conditions. As a respected stylist and member of the Hispanic community, Irma is the perfect person to prove that being fashionable can go hand in hand with eye health.”

The web series touches on three main themes ranging from how to choose eyewear that complements the shape of your face, skin tone, personal style and lifestyle to selecting fashion accessories that make eyewear the focus of a complete look. But the webisodes will not only focus on outer beauty.  With the help of Martinez, Transitions Optical hopes to motivate viewers to pay attention to their overall eye health by visiting an eye care provider on a regular basis.
