CMC Announces Rising Stars of the Hispanic Marketing Industry

Culture Marketing Council: The Voice of Hispanic Marketing (CMC) announced the winners of the Rising Stars Recognition, the Hispanic marketing industry’s premier award for outstanding marketing and advertising professionals under the age of 35. Jackie Bofill, senior account director, Alma and Krysten Casabielle, managing director, Pinta will be inducted as the class of 2020 Rising Stars for CMC.

“These young professionals are excelling in our industry because they are creative, strategic and have a passion for success,” said CMC Chair Gonzalo Del Fa, president of GroupM Multicultural. “Our Rising Stars are setting the pace for tomorrow and will be leading our industry into the future. They are role models for their peers, and they share a commitment to our market, personal growth and community involvement. Congratulations to Jackie and Krysten, CMC’s 2020 Rising Stars.”

Jackie Bofill has been instrumental in the McDonald’s National Hispanic account. During her time at Alma, she has worked on numerous campaigns, such as the McDelivery and McCafé, and the 2019 World Cup campaign, which was the most recalled and liked World Cup ad in the U.S., according to NBC/Telemundo. Her work has led the brand to win several awards and recognitions at award shows such as Effies, CAPE, El Ojo de Iberamérica, and Wave Festival.

Connecting her love for McDonald’s and her love for community service, Jackie coordinates Alma’s quarterly visits to the local Ronald McDonald House Charities, where she and the team prepare and serve a meal for the families in residence. As a member of the Kiwanis Club of Little Havana, a non-profit organization serving underprivileged children in the community, she has held leading roles in organizing major annual Latin events and philanthropy targeting literacy, mentorship and scholarships.

Krysten Casabielle has held several progressive positions with PINTA and leads the agency’s planning for Heineken, Carnival Cruise Line, Microsoft, NFL, Thomson Reuters, and T-Mobile. For the NFL she helped lead the franchise’s first-ever Hispanic campaign and oversaw activations at Super Bowls, Mexico games, Pro Bowls, NFL Draft and other key moments for the franchise. She has also led Heineken’s First Draught Pick event with the Inter Miami CF soccer club.

Krysten has a deep passion for animals and is an active member of the ASPCA. She also is an active member in the United-Way of Miami-Dade Young Leaders and the National MS Society where she leads a MS Walk team.

To be considered for the Rising Stars Recognition, Hispanic professionals must be age 35 or younger at the time of nomination and employed in the U.S. advertising industry. Award winners are nominated by their peers for demonstrating passion for the Hispanic marketing/advertising industry and motivating others to excel by mentoring, inspiring, training and volunteering.
