Azteca America expands partnership with Cardenas Marketing Network

Azteca America announced it continues its partnership with leading multicultural event marketing agency and tour producer, Cardenas Marketing Network (CMN Events) and will serve as the presenting sponsor and official television station for a series of six concerts in 2016 featuring one of today’s most renowned Regional Mexican artists, Julión Álvarez.

Concerts are scheduled for Friday, July 15 in San Jose at the SAP Center; Saturday, July 16 in Los Angeles at the LA Forum; Friday, July 22 in Houston at the Toyota Center; Saturday, July 23 in Dallas at the American Airlines Center; and Friday, November 11 in Phoenix at the Talking Stick Casino Arena.

Once again partnering with CMN Events, Azteca created customized concert sponsorships for local brands and marketers for each concert event.

Julión Álvarez is one of the most celebrated interpreters of regional Mexican music performing today. His music has been streamed on Spotify 236 million times, boasts more than one million sales on the iTunes Store® and has been streamed on Deezer 2.52 million times. In September 2015, his album El Aferrado was nominated for “Best Banda Album” at the 16th Annual Latin Grammy Awards. His song El Amor De Su Vida also was nominated for “Best Regional Song.” In 2015 for the album El Aferrado and in 2013 for the album Tu Amigo Nada Mas, Álvarez secured the #1 Top Album on iTunes on both the Regional Mexicano and Latin charts. In 2014, he was a producer and the winning coach on “La Voz – Mexico.”
