The longest-running music awards show on U.S. Spanish-language television will welcome first-time sponsors Dolby and U.S. Census Bureau, who join returning partners State Farm®, T-Mobile, and Universal Pictures for the first Latin Music award show of the decade. “Premio Lo Nuestro” telecasts live Thursday, February 20 from the AmericanAirlines Arena in Miami, beginning with Univision’s coverage of pre-show arrivals at 7 p.m. ET/PT (6 p.m. Central) during “Noche de Estrellas” (Night of Stars).

We want to thank our sponsors who each year help make ‘Premio Lo Nuestro’ a success and are excited to kick-off the decade with the very first awards show that recognizes Latin music.”

T-Mobile returns for the eighth year as the presenting sponsor of “Premio Lo Nuestro.” To highlight T-Mobile’s nationwide 5G network, the brand brings fans inside CNCO and Manuel Turizo’s highly anticipated “Premio Lo Nuestro” performance to show how the T-Mobile 5G network helped make this collaboration come to life. T-Mobile will take fans behind the scenes with exclusive content that will be made available on CNCO, Manuel Turizo, and social influencer Sebastian Villalobos’ social platforms leading up to the show, and invites fans to engage and continue the conversation by using hashtag #5GEsLoNuestro. The night of the show, the Magenta Carpet serves as the setting for “Noche De Estrellas” as T-Mobile welcomes artists to an unforgettable night of performances.

First-time Univision sponsor Dolby, a leader in immersive entertainment experiences, has partnered with J Balvin to bring the world’s first J Balvin Immersive Experience to “Premio Lo Nuestro” with a special two-day activation. Located on the east ground-level concourse at the Brickell City Centre in Miami, artists and consumers will be able to check out the dedicated Airstream with Dolby technologies – featuring audio-visual experiences from the award-winning, global chart-topping Colombian reggaeton artist. Teaming up with Univision’s Migbelis Castellanos and Univision Creator Network influencer Mario Ruiz, Dolby will show how the immersive sound of Dolby Atmos is creating the future of music via the experiential activation and through custom content experiences. These will include exclusive Augmented Reality (AR) social media filter with artwork from J Balvin’s upcoming album Colores that will appear on talent, Dolby and Univision social platforms. During the awards show, Dolby will celebrate the accomplishments of J Balvin, this year’s ‘Global Icon’ recipient, with an integrated marketing takeover.

State Farm® will showcase its empathetic approach to service through a dynamic partnership with Latino superstar, Sebastian Yatra. Yatra will star in a custom-created vignette where, with a little help from State Farm®, he will introduce fans to the Miami, Florida community that shaped and influenced his musical career. His die-hard fans will be invited to support his in-show performance front and center from the exclusive State Farm® Community Fan Pit. Univision will capture LIVE fan reaction to feature as part of an ad innovation unit at the close of the performance.

Universal Pictures returns to “Premio Lo Nuestro” this year in support of the upcoming DreamWorks Animation film Trolls World Tour to recognize and celebrate the explosion of Latin Music with an in-show moment teasing the 2020 PLN Global Icon and Trolls World Tour cast member J Balvin. The showstopping moment, featuring host Alejandra Espinoza, will turn AmericanAirlines Arena into a cascade of colors as animated Trolls take over the stage to dance and groove to J Balvin’s global smash hit “Mi Gente,” before leading into an exclusive and bespoke trailer for Trolls World Tour, which arrives in theaters April 17.

First-time Univision partner U.S. Census Bureau makes its debut at the awards to encourage all Hispanics living in the U.S. to participate in the 2020 Census. Beginning on the carpet during “Noche de Estrellas,” Prince Royce will partner with the U.S. Census Bureau to highlight the importance of being counted for the betterment of our communities. Prince Royce’s message will be carried over into the main show, where host Alejandra Espinoza will take the opportunity to reinforce the need for Latinos to unite and make their presence known.
