WAPA Television, a broadcast network in Puerto Rico, along with its U.S. cable network arm WAPA America, have officially partnered with the Latina empowerment brand Spiritú to launch a limited-edition gift box specifically curated for Puerto Ricans and Hispanics both on the Island and mainland U.S. The unique box features a culturally relevant combination of products created and inspired by Puerto Rican influencers, Latina entrepreneurs, as well as major brands like Clinique. Proceeds from each sale will benefit Friends of Puerto Rico, an organization focused on growing and investing in its new generation of leaders and entrepreneurs.

The special edition gift boxes, valued at over $100, will be available for only $29.99 starting February 14 at www.myspiritu.com/wapa, while supplies last.

Spiritú will promote the box across its digital platforms – to its community of over 45,000 and through its strong influencer and media partnerships that reach millions. WAPA will promote the box across its cable, broadcast, and digital channels to its community of over 6.5 million. WAPA and WAPA America are subsidiaries of Hemisphere Media Group, the only publicly traded pure-play U.S. media company targeting the U.S. Hispanic and Latin American markets with leading television and digital content platforms.

Filled with beauty, lifestyle, and artisanal products from all over the world, the gift set will showcase some of Puerto Rico’s best-in-category, including perfume by Angelique “La Burbu,” a Puerto Rican celebrity and influencer, known for her role on Pégate al Mediodía, which airs in Puerto Rico on WAPA TV and in the U.S. on WAPA América, seasoning from Enrique Piñeiro, a renowned celebrity chef, host, author, and entrepreneur, whose culinary segment on ¡Viva la Tarde! airs in Puerto Rico on WAPA TV and in the U.S. on WAPA América, as well as Café Ama, a social impact coffee ethically grown in Puerto Rico, among other surprises.

“This partnership represents a new and unique way to promote Puerto Rican entrepreneurs and brands to a wider audience, as well as help a great organization that invests in the next generation during a critical time for Puerto Rico,” says Danielle Levine, Spiritú CEO and Co-Founder. “Thank you everyone at WAPA and Hemisphere Media Group for your partnership, collaboration, and commitment to creating more opportunities across your platforms.”

“We’re excited to collaborate with Spiritu in testing new and creative ways to engage with advertisers and leverage the deep connection that our networks and talent have with Latino audiences,” said Lucia Ballas-Traynor, Business Development Consultant for Hemisphere Media Group, WAPA’s Miami-based parent company. “We look forward to the opportunity to provide a different type of curated experience to our viewers while driving value to our advertising partners.”
