Residents of Orlando shine when it comes to saving money, as the Florida city took the number one ranking on the 'Most Frugal U.S. Cities' list, according to the 2013 Coupons.com Savings Index1 released by Coupons.com Incorporated. Orlando overtook Atlanta, which had held the top spot for four years running. Tampa landed the number two position, with Washington D.C., Nashville and Charlotte rounding out the top five.

Viacom International Media Networks has named former Telemundo programming exec Maria Iregui as brand manager and senior VP of programming and production for MTV Latin America and Tr3s.

NUVOtv parent company SiTV Media, Inc. and The Madison Square Garden Company have reached an agreement for SiTV Media to acquire the Fuse network from MSG.  This was jointly announced today by Michael Schwimmer, CEO of SiTV Media and its NUVOtv network, and Tad Smith, President and CEO of The Madison Square Garden Company.

Telemundo Sports led all Spanish-language networks in nominations to the 35th Sports Emmy® Awards, according to the announcement made by The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS).  More than 180 nominees were announced in 39 categories and NBCUniversal’s Spanish-language broadcast network was recognized with six nominations, tying with ABC and outranking its Spanish-language competitors including ESPN Deportes (4) and Univision Deportes (3), as well as general market networks such as TBS, CBS Sports Network and FOX Soccer Channel, among others. The Awards will be given out at Jazz at Lincoln Center’s prestigious Frederick P. Rose Hall, located in the Time Warner Center on Tuesday, May 6th, 2014 in New York City.
