Health Net of California has entered into an agreement for Ad Américas to serve as agency of record for advertising directed at California’s growing Latino population.

The initial advertising focus will support the recent launch of Salud con Health Net, a new group of health plans targeting small businesses and designed to provide affordable quality care for Latinos and their families on both sides of the border. This unique bi-national partnership provides insurance coverage for families obtaining care from partner health care organizations in both the U.S. and Mexico.

Liz Castells-Heard, President/Partner of Ad Américas said, "It's great to see such a high caliber company like Health Net understand and focus on fulfilling the needs of our Latino community which are so under-served in this category yet make up over a third of California's population. Ad Américas is proud to partner with a company that is raising the bar for product marketing to keep Latinos in great health.” Health Net and Ad Américas have developed a plan to promote the line of products throughout the year in print, broadcast, direct mail and in community promotional events.

Vicki McDonald, Vice President of Marketing at Health Net, said, “We’re pleased to be working with Ad Américas to bring our message of enhanced access to health care to California’s Latino community.”
