Mendoza Dillon & Mindshare Create New Planning & Buying Unit.

Robert Howells, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Mendoza, Dillon & Asociados, announced the formation of a joint venture with MindShare. The new venture will specialize in media planning and buying for the Hispanic marketplace.

In forming this new venture, Mr. Howells stated, “In the increasingly complex Hispanic marketplace, the media planning and buying function continues to become more sophisticated, requiring new tools, expanded resources and increased market leverage. By partnering with MindShare, we bring to our clients the leverage of the largest media planning and buying organization in the world combined with our years of experience at Mendoza, Dillon & Asociados in building brands within the Hispanic marketplace.”

The new MindShare division will be headed by Cindy Gough (current Media Director at MD&A) and Mark Rice (Managing Director at MindShare). The Hispanic division will be located in the MD&A offices in Newport Beach, California.

Mark Rice stated that, “This is the first step in the development of a complete multi-ethnic capability at MindShare. Partnering with Mendoza, Dillon & Asociados, will provide both MindShare and MD&A a unique opportunity to provide clients with unparalleled media resources, experience and expertise in marketing to the Hispanic segment.”

This new MD&A/MindShare venture will be a part of MindShare North America, serving all North American clients.
