Multicultural PR Firm Environics Communications Continues Expansion.

Environics Communications, Inc. announced it has relocated its U.S. office to One Landmark Square in Stamford, Conn., to accommodate further expansion in the United States. Environics also announced the appointment of Paul Larsen to senior vice president and general manager of its Stamford operation.

While the slowing economy is affecting many firms, Environics continues to win new business and grow existing accounts. The National SAFE KIDS Campaign for Johnson & Johnson, Dumex Medical, Santiago & Valdés, Triple Point Technology, and Band-X are among the latest organizations to retain the agency’s U.S. media-relations services. Environics currently ranks #45 on the O’Dwyer’s list of independent public relations agencies operating in the United States and employs 20 full-time professionals in its Stamford office.

“Our Stamford operation grew over eighty percent last year. We will continue to invest in the people and resources needed to provide high quality and high value, results-driven services to our clients,” said Bruce MacLellan, president of Environics. “Paul’s communications and counseling experience is a fine complement to our strong team in Stamford. We look forward to continued expansion in the United States under his leadership.”

Larsen brings 30 years of communications experience to Environics. In addition to overseeing the Stamford office’s day-to-day operations, he provides strategic counsel and tactical support to its growing roster of clients. Prior to joining Environics, Larsen was a senior associate at Stanton Crenshaw Communications. There, he spearheaded the Paragon Networks (Brookfield, Conn.) account, among others. Before that, he was founder, president, and CEO of Larsen Media Group, Inc., where his clients included American Airlines, General Motors, and Omega Watch. Larsen is a graduate of the University of Virginia, Charlottesville.
