Ornelas & Associates Adds 4.

Ornelas & Associates announced that it has added four members to its staff: Kelly McDonald, director of client services; Ben Logan, account planner; Manuel Villegas, copywriter; and Victor Rodriguez, creative producer.

These additions are due in large part to Ornelas & Associates’ recent win of Nissan North America’s regional Hispanic marketing nationwide, announced last month.

“We’re pleased to have these great additions to our already strong agency team,” said Victor Ornelas, president and CEO of Ornelas & Associates. “Our continuously growing business and staff is a positive indicator that corporate America is realizing the importance of the Hispanic market.” Kelly McDonald joins the Ornelas & Associates team, ending an extensive
nationwide search to fill the agency’s director of client services role.

McDonald has nine years automotive client experience with well-known agencies such as TBWA Chiat/Day, Young & Rubicam and most recently Temerlin McClain. She is responsible for the overall management of client services for all of Ornelas & Associates’ accounts.

As account planner and new business development coordinator, Ben Logan provides strategic direction to Ornelas & Associates’ creative process by focusing on capturing key consumer insights through quantitative and qualitative research. Logan has more than eight years product development experience in the United States and Mexico.

Manuel Villegas joins the agency’s creative team as copywriter. A native of Mexico, Villegas comes to Ornelas & Associates from Lebrija Rubio Publicidad in Mexico City, where he served as associate creative director. His portfolio includes creative work for Panasonic, Wal-Mart, Revlon, Almay and Roche-Syntex Laboratories.

Victor Rodriguez is the agency’s new creative producer, where he assists with the creative aspects of radio and television broadcast production. Rodriguez was most recently production manager at Leo Burnett in Venezuela. He has more than 18 years advertising experience, including work for Mitsubishi Motor Co., Coca-Cola, Unilever and Panasonic.
