Spanglish Communications Is Born.

A new year brings in a new name. Costa Mesa, California based Crossover Interactive & Advertising is now Spanglish Communications.

“We have restructured our group in order to better reflect our services and capabilities”, says Barbara Ruano, President/Founder of Spanglish Communications. “Although we continue to focus on targeting the entire Hispanic population in the US, including the Crossover Market, we have been rapidly growing with projects which have also required an English language component or are exclusively tailored to the General Market”. The use of the term Spanglish in the new name emphasizes their marketing and advertising capabilities in both Spanish and English. “It also adds a touch of fun and relevance to the name, and makes it more representative of the Ñ generation and bilingual Crossover Hispanics…including myself “.

In addition to advertising, the Agency has also been growing in the areas of entertainment, media services, and e-marketing, therefore they are scheduled to launch several new divisions in the near future, all under the Spanglish Communications umbrella. This will include a separate advertising division: Spanglish Advertising.

Geoff Fiala, Managing Director of the group, adds: “Although we are growing in different areas, our goal is to keep the team fairly small, offering our Clients everything they’d expect from a large Agency, without the ‘large Agency’ overhead. Barbara and I will continue to work closely with each and every one of our Clients and build on the relationships and resources we’ve developed through our combined 30 plus years in the Ad industry.”

Se Habla Spanglish Communications, LLC Clients include Onepoint Bioscience, Urban Latino, a nationally syndicated English language program, 1singles, Inc., and several General Market Ad Agencies who need additional support for their Client’s Hispanic program needs.
