Havana @ The Palm Beach Festival Ballet.

The Palm Beach Festival Ballet announced the world premiere of HAVANA this coming April. This story of love, passion, and mystery transports the audience to an era that now lives on only in the memories of those who lived it. A journey to the glorious Paris of the Americas as it was in its golden age.

With original orchestral and big band score by Artistic Director, Manuel R. Bornia and choreography by Ballet Floridas critically acclaimed Jerry Opdenaker, our Story comes to life in the mid 1950s Cuba and performed by our cast of 18 professional and semi-professional dancers. Exquisitely costumed and featured in our signature In the Round setting, we bring the audience directly into the middle of the action.

Combining the rhythmic roots of Cuban music and dance with the foundations of orchestral ballet creating an entirely original work of art. This innovative, classic, and provocative production will bring new life to this classical medium and entertain audiences for years to come.
