Latinologues On Broadway.

Latinologues, an award-winning comedy about life in America, will make its Broadway debut this fall at the Helen Hayes Theatre (240 West 44th Street) with performances beginning Tuesday, September 13. The official opening night is Sunday, October 23. This is the show that has been a favorite across the nation for years. The limited Broadway engagement will play through December 4, 2005.

Cheech Marin will direct the Broadway production of Latinologues, a collection of comedic and poignant monologues, performed in English, revealing the Latino experience in America. Latinologues was created and written by Rick Najera, one of America’s leading comedy writers with “MAD TV” and “In Living Color” among his credits. Najera is set to perform in Latinologues along with Eugenio Derbez, Rene Lavan and Shirley A. Rumierk, as they take on everything from beauty pageants to immigration, shattering Latino stereotypes with hilarious results.
