Lighting the Path To World Peace After 9.11.

This 2001-02 Grand Prize Winner is Hei Man Lau who was sponsored by the Hong Kong Mandarin Lions Club, Hong Kong, China

The Lions International Peace Poster Contest was created in 1988 to give young people an opportunity to express their feelings about peace. Since then, more than two million children from approximately 65 countries have participated in the annual contest.

The contest is open to young people worldwide, ages 11-13. However, the contest must be sponsored by a Lions club in a school or an organized, sponsored youth group (such as Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, YMCA programs, etc.).

Taking into account the world counties in a rainbow of color and diversity, Hei Man Lau creates a rainbow that becomes doves from many nations and people of the world as they unite into one pure white dove that breaks away.
