NAMIC CEO Roundtable With Telecommunications’ Execs.

NAMIC announced it will feature a CEO Roundtable of top-level industry leaders from around the country during The 15th Annual NAMIC Conference: Digital Media & Diversity being held September 10-12, 2001, at the Millennium Broadway Hotel in New York City.

Henry S. Schleiff, chairman and CEO of Court TV will serve as the moderator for the session and will be joined by a distinguished panel of colleagues including Decker Anstrom, president and CEO of The Weather Channel, Laureen Ong, president, U.S., of the National Geographic Channel, Ken Potashner, CEO of SONICblue, Inc., Robert Sachs, CEO National Cable Telecommunications Association and Herb Scannell, president, Nickelodeon, TV Land/TNN. The CEO Roundtable will give a behind-the-scenes look from the top on diversity and other issues impacting our industry on Tuesday, September 11, 2001, from 10:15 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

The Conference, “Digital Media & Diversity,” is held over a three-day period and is targeted to marketing and operations personnel as well as programming content providers in the telecommunications industry.

In addition to the CEO Roundtable, a Diversity Roundtable, Master Courses and track sessions on Marketing and Product Content; New Media and Content Delivery, and Diversity Development will also be offered during the Conference. NAMIC will present its fourth annual Excellence Awards in recognition of operators and programmers who have demonstrated foresight in developing ethnic-targeted marketing and public relations strategies.
