New Hispanic Consumer Sets Agenda For National Hispanic Corporate Council.

The National Hispanic Corporate Council will hold its Spring Member Meeting April 18-20 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in New York City, NY. The theme of the event is “The New Hispanic Consumer.”

The Bureau of the Census will open the meeting with a presentation on the much reported Hispanic population boom. Hispanics are the fastest growing minority group with 35 million people, a 58% increase since the 1990 Census.

Other presentations will focus on the various segments within the Hispanic market including Latinas, Hispanic children, teens and young adults. Keynote speaker Antonia Coello Novello, New York State Health Commissioner and former Surgeon General, will discuss the role of “The New Hispanic Woman” on April 19.

The National Hispanic Corporate Council is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to serving its member companies as a principal resource for information, expertise and counsel about Hispanic issues affecting, corporate objectives, and to advocate for increased employment, leadership and business opportunities for Hispanics in corporate America.
