Head & Shoulders’ Two New Faces.

Head & Shoulders just released new packaging, new conditioners and new fragrance for its new shampoo formula designed to leave hair soft and manageable and at the same time control dandruff. To go along with its improved physical image, Head & Shoulders has a new spokesperson, famous Spanish singer Alejandro Sanz.

Sanz joins a long list of Hispanic stars including Chayanne, Emmanuel and Patricia Manterola, among others, who have supported the Head & Shoulders brand with their image for more than 10 years. This campaign marks Alejandro Sanz’s debut as a spokesperson since it’s the first time that the famous singer’s name is associated with a product.

The star is featured in two Head & Shoulders ads made for television. The first one presents two celebrity reporters who enter the singer’s dressing room, while he is performing and find his bottle of Head & Shoulders. The second ad features a man at a barbershop who wants his hair cut the same way as Sanz’s but has dandruff. He gets his hair washed with Head & Shoulders and styled the same way as the singer who then shows up unexpectedly at the barbershop.

The new Head & Shoulders advertising campaign featuring its two new faces was produced in Spain and will begin airing on television this month in Puerto Rico and various U.S. Hispanic markets.
