The SoDA Report 2013. [REPORT V.1]

Volume one of The SoDA Report 2013, SoDA’s biannual trends publication, which showcases content from some of the most influential thinkers in the digital marketing world, has been released. This edition explores the topic of Perceptions and features various point of views concerning the issues, challenges and opportunities shaping the future of the digital marketing industry in the year ahead.

“The 2013 SoDA Report reveals new perspectives, fresh ideas and real concepts of how organizations are balancing the art and science of perception to succeed in these fast-paced times,” Angèle Beausoleil, Editor-in-Chief.

Dozens of SoDA member companies have contributed thought-provoking articles and case studies to The SoDA Report. Additionally, a broad array of guest contributors, CMOs, editors, and other senior level decision makers from a wide variety of organizations – i.e., General Mills, Adobe, Dollar Shave Club, Marketing Week, Contagious, The Drum, The Art Directors Club, IIT Institute of Design and Econsultancy, among other blue-chip brands – offer their insights and expertise. Finally, the case studies section of The Soda Report showcases SoDA members’ innovative work on behalf of international brands such as Google, Umbro, Avis, Coca-Cola, Barneys, Nike, Fox, ITV, Samsung, Tesla Motors, Icon Fitness, Unilever, Intel, Jack in the Box, and Cisco.

Additionally, the results of SoDA’s annual Digital Marketing Outlook survey are included in the report and provide fascinating evidence on the current and future changes surrounding projected budgets, growth opportunities, organizational structure, technological shifts, etc. for digital marketing companies and their clients. The findings illustrate that both digital agencies and full-service agencies with digital capabilities have more of a primary role with client organizations than previously had in years before.

“With over 65,000 readers in 2012, The SoDA Report has become one of the most read publications in the digital marketing world. But this is only one expression of the remarkable community of digital pioneers, creatives and executives that makes up SoDA,” Tony Quin, SoDA’s Chairman of the Board.
