Orange County Register & LA Times launch ad insert program for Orange County.

Orange County Register Communications and the Los Angeles Times Media Group (LATMG) announced the launch of OCSaver/Local Values — an advertising insert distribution solution providing effective, targeted reach to Orange County households.

Beginning August 27-29, OCSaver/Local Values will be distributed to subscribers of The Orange County Register and the Los Angeles Times on Fridays and to non-subscribers through the Register’s 25 community newspapers, LATMG’s Spanish language newspaper Hoy Fin de Semana and non-subscribers via USPS mail on Thursday, Friday or Saturday of each week. In addition, OC Saver/Local Values allows advertisers to reach selected households, providing significantly increased targeting capabilities.

“The combined OCSaver/Local Values distribution program will have access to nearly one million Orange County households,” said Terry Horne, Publisher of The Orange County Register. “By distribution through the Register and The Times, the program offers advertisers the best reach in Orange County.”

“OCSaver/Local Values promises to be the definitive preprint solution in Orange County,” said Eddy Hartenstein, Los Angeles Times Publisher. “By combining the existing Orange County Register and Los Angeles Times programs and harnessing the unparalleled reach of our distribution systems, we can provide advertisers virtually unduplicated coverage in one, robust preprint package.”

The Orange County Register and the Los Angeles Times will each offer advertiser placement in OCSaver/Local Values.
