Orange County NSHMBA Chapter: Workshop On Preparing A Winning Scholarship Application.

The National Society of Hispanic MBAs Orange County Chapter invites all Hispanic business students to participate in the NSHMBA/HSF Graduate Management Scholarship program for 2001. The event will be held on April 23rd at the Lincoln Mercury World Headquarters, 19 Technology Drive, Irvine CA. The event will provide sound direction for all Hispanic students
in college relative to available scholarships from NSHMBA and HSF.

Congresswomen Loretta Sanchez, Mike Turner, Sr. Vice President, Junior Achievement and representatives from all the major universities and colleges in Orange County and surrounding communities will be attending. A workshop on “How to Prepare a Winning Application” will be conducted by the Hispanic Scholarship Fund.

Along with the National Society of Hispanic MBAs and the Hispanic Scholarship Fund, the following companies and organizations are sponsoring the event: The Ford Motor Company, Coca-Cola Company, Chapman University, the California State University, Fullerton, and the University of California, Irvine. The event will include a reception for student attendees showing their valid school identification, school representatives, sponsors and their guests. All NSHMBA members are invited as well. Net proceeds will be applied to the NSHMBA/HSF 2001-2002 scholarship fund and remain in the Southern California region for local graduate management scholarships.

The National Society of Hispanic MBAs (NSHMBA) and the Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF) have partnered to provide matching scholarship funds for the NSHMBA Scholarship Program 2001. This year NSHMBA & HSF will grant $600,000.00 in scholarships to outstanding Latinos pursuing Master’s Degrees in management/business. The scholarships will be awarded on a competitive
basis to full-time and part-time Master’s degree-seeking graduate students.
