El Diario/La Prensa will host the 3rd Annual El Awards.

El Diario/La Prensa in New York will host the 3rd annual “El” Awards at the Grand Havana Room this Fall. The “El” Awards were first produced in 2004 to recognize Latinos who are high achievers in their chosen fields. The awards are attended by 150 people annually and are featured in a special supplement and on-line video streaming. This year 25 Latinos will be recognized for their business achievements and their commitment to the community.

Sponsorship of the “El” Awards affords advertisers an opportunity to showcase their products to the young urban Latino male. Seventy-eight percent of El Diario readers are age 18-49, with 61% of them male.

“The ‘El’ Awards fills a niche in the New York market by allowing sponsors to promote their products and services to an influential group of Hispanic men,” said Rossana Rosado, publisher of El Diario. “This market represents 61% of our 256,000 plus daily readers.”

For the past 11 years El Diario has had a very successful series of luncheons honoring Latina achievers.
