Univision & HBC Merger Pending.

After clearly the scrutiny of the federal Trade Commision, the Univision Communications and Hispanic Broadcasting Corp. merger is pending approval from the Federal Communications Commision (FCC). Any decision from the FCC will be after the commision has made their decision on new Broadcast Ownership Rules scheduled for June 2, 2003.
