San Diego Union-Tribune launched Vida Latina San Diego.

The San Diego Union-Tribune launched Vida Latina San Diego, a free glossy entertainment magazine available throughout the South Bay, offering Spanish-language content to consumers and an additional channel for advertisers to reach the large demographic.

With an initial audience of 80,000 readers in the San Diego market each week, Vida Latina San Diego is the largest circulated Spanish-language entertainment magazine, television and shopping guide in the marketplace.

“The Union-Tribune is proud to have the largest Spanish-language footprint in the San Diego market,” said Robert York, director of product development for the Union-Tribune. “Vida Latina San Diego will allow us to provide in-demand content, as well as expand the opportunities for advertisers to directly reach this targeted, growing demographic.”

“We continue to aggressively expand our product offerings due to our keen understanding of the diverse demographic make-up of San Diego,” said Ed Moss, president and publisher of the Union-Tribune. “As the most robust media company in the marketplace, we understand the region and our readers’ needs, and, following our company’s mission, are committed to delivering products that provide useful news and information to build stronger communities.”
