Grammy Award-winning Latin artist Elvis Crespo joined Terra.com, McDonald's and Disney earlier this week to announce The Best of Latin Music, a national celebration of Hispanic heritage that brings the spirit of Latin music online via sweepstakes, chat sessions and a live concert webcast.
The Best of Latin Music concert, sponsored in part by Terra.com, takes place at the Walt Disney World Resort on October 13, 2001 with Grammy Award-winner Elvis Crespo, and superstars Luis Fonsi, MDO, Límite and Carmen Jara sharing the stage.
Additionally, Terra.com, the official website of this Latin music celebration, will provide a live webcast of the October 13 concert. Telemundo will then broadcast the show October 27, 2001 at 7:00 p.m. (EST/PST) and 6:00 p.m. (CST).
A national sweepstakes will send more than 100 winners to attend the private broadcast taping of The Best of Latin Music concert celebration at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando. Official sweepstakes entry forms are available today by logging onto Terra, the official Internet partner for The Best of Latin Music celebration, at www.terra.com.
Terra will provide up-to-the-minute information on concert performers and the opportunity to submit questions to the artists and interact with them in live chat rooms. In addition, every click generated on Terra's The Best of Latin Music pages beginning today will go towards generating up to $10,000 for the Ronald McDonald House Charities.
"We have created the most incredible and interactive experience for Latin music fans, where they can actually interact with the artists, listen to their music, share their experiences and express themselves online," said Arancha Ferreiro, marketing manager, Terra.com. "And by entering the sweepstakes online beginning August 10, Latin music fans will have a chance to experience the concert live and support a worthy cause."
