Miller Genuine Draft’s Return Of ‘Solo Con Invitacion’ To Los Angeles.

More than 1,000 die-hard Latin music fans across the country will get the chance of a lifetime to attend Miller Genuine Draft’s Solo Con Invitacion (By Invitation Only) concert November 1, 2001 at the Sun Theater in Anaheim, California. As usual, the band’s identity will remain a secret until the artist takes the stage. Concert guests, who are invited through radio promotions from various markets including Albuquerque, Denver, Fresno, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Oxnard, Phoenix, Sacramento, San Bernardino, San Diego, San Francisco, San Jose and Tucson will be flown to the mystery concert location for the all-expense-paid entertainment event. MGD Solo Con Invitacion, now in its fifth year, has become one of the most successful and popular Latin music brand promotions in history.

The November concert will be the first MGD Solo Con Invitacion event of the year; the last concert was held in November 2000 in Los Angeles and featured Cafe Tacuba, one of Latin America’s hottest rock-en-espanol bands. Past MGD Solo Con Invitacion mystery artists have included Los Tucanes de Tijuana, Maldita Vecindad, Aterciopelados, Elvis Crespo, Olga Tanon, Enanitos Verdes, and Alejandra Guzman, among others.
