Toyota Matrix – Urban Latino Spring Break 2003.

Urban Latino TV (ULTV) announced plans for the Toyota Matrix-Urban Latino Spring Break set to take place March 27th- March 30th, 2003 in Miami, Florida.

Viewers, who have been seeing a teaser campaign on air since January 1st, will begin seeing promos beginning the week of January 27th on how they can enter to win the “Toyota Matrix- Urban Latino Spring Break Road Trip”. The contest requires viewers to give their vitals (name, address and phone number) and write in 100 words or less why “Toyota Matrix is the perfect car for Spring Break”.

The winner who will be randomly chosen from all the qualified entries will win, airfare for two (themselves plus a guest) to Miami, hotel accommodations, transportation in a Toyota Matrix while in Miami, VIP access to Spring Break events and an opportunity to co-host Urban Latino TV’s coverage of Spring Break.

Events planned in Miami March 27-30th include a variety of daily and nightly activities including parties, concerts, water sports, games, contest and more. Toyota Matrix is the title sponsor of both the on air promotion and on location Spring Break activities.

The Spring Break events are being organized by Urban Latino and “Misto L.E.S.”, a marketing and promotions company based in Miami. Special travel packages are being offered to viewers by “Soulatino Travel” in association with Urban Latino.
In addition to providing coverage of the Spring Break event on location in Miami, ULTV is producing segments highlighting Latino fraternity and sorority organizations and the growing influence of Latinos on college campuses nationwide that are scheduled to air in and around ULTV’s Spring Break coverage in March and April.

The Toyota Matrix-Urban Latino Spring Break is being supported by a multi-media promotional, marketing and public relations campaign that includes ULTV affiliates, Urban Latino Magazine, local radio campaigns, Collegiate Circuit Magazine, iCaramba Communications, Urban Sofrito (El Diario), college tours, college media (newspaper and radio) and more.
