ESPN Deportes Radio launches in Atlanta.

ESPN Deportes Radio announced the launch of 640 AM ESPN Deportes. Under the operation of Clear Channel Media and Entertainment, the station will be Atlanta’s only station devoted to broadcasting continuous Spanish language sports coverage.

“We are proud to extend ESPN Deportes Radio to the Spanish-speaking sports fans in Atlanta,” said Oscar Ramos, senior director and general manager of ESPN Deportes Radio. “Our agreement with Clear Channel Media and Entertainment will allow us to provide comprehensive sports programming relevant to the Hispanic audience that was not available in this market. The addition of 640 AM to our portfolio of stations also solidifies our commitment to continue expanding our national presence.”
