NBA Denver Nuggets Form Hispanic Advisory Committee.

After the resignation of head coach Dan Issel for making inappropriate remarks to a Mexican basketball fan. The team has created an advisory committee composed of local community leaders to help mend the differences with the team and the Hispanic community.
The committee is headed by Ernest Gurule and other members of the group are Bishop Jose Gomez; Grace Hernandez, former aide to U.S. Rep. Dan Shaffer; Michelle Lucero, vice president of Centura Healthcare; lawyer Denise Maes; Larry Martinez of The Martinez Group; Manuel Martinez; Ron Montoya, Plasticom president and CEO; and Sharon Vigil, executive director of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
