HTVN Awarded License To KVAW-TV In San Antonio.

Hispanic Television Network, Inc. HTVN announced that it has been awarded a full power license from the Federal Communications Commission for its full-power television station, KVAW Ch. 16 located in Eagle Pass, Texas.
“The strategic benefit of having this full power station is that it is within the San Antonio, Texas DMA (Demographic Market Area),” said Michael Fletcher, the recently appointed Chief Operating Officer of HTVN. “Our future plans for this station will result in increased revenues for the company in our south Texas region. It is also a nice asset on our balance sheet.”
With the recent changes within the company, part of the new strategy is to add focus to local retail sales. With this license, HTVN has the ability to create stronger revenue in the San Antonio area, one of the United States’ top-ten Hispanic Markets.
