Un Chín magazine announced the appointment of Nancy Rosado as national advertising director. In her new role, Rosado will be responsible for overseeing sales on a national level.
Rosado joins Un Chín magazine from the Wall Street Journal US Hispanic Edition, where she most recently held the title of national account manager. Prior to the Wall Street Journal, Rosado worked as an account manager at Latina magazine. She began her career in sales as a planner for Univision Communications. “It’s great to hear that Nancy will be representing the magazine. The fact that she’s in the magazine’s target audience, combined with her passion for Hispanic media sales and her background in targeted broadcast and print vehicles, makes her an excellent choice,” comments Robert Diaz, partner and multicultural planning director of Mindshare.
Nancy also sits on the board of advisors for the Manhattan Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, where she focuses on corporate procurement and community affairs. “In some shape or form, Nancy has always been involved with nonprofit organizations that focus on the advancement of Hispanics in the United States. Taking on the role of sales director for a Latino-owned magazine brings her world full circle.” states Maria Castro, president, Manhattan Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
