The Official Guide 2006 FIFA World Cup Germany will be published by Landucci Publishers and circulated through a major distributor in the United States. The official guide of the world’s most popular sport will be printed in two editions for the USA, one in Spanish aimed at US Hispanics and other in English for the general market, for a total of 1.5 million issues.
“This is the only official publication sponsored by FIFA and the only one authorized to use its official logos and trademarks in the United States”, emphasizes Marco Landucci, president of Landucci Publishers from Mexico. The guide will be sold at less than ten dollars in magazines stands as of April 1st, 2006 and through the world cup event in June-July of next year.
Publicitas LHM in Miami and its offices in New York, Los Angeles, and Dallas will manage the advertising-sponsorship sales for the guide. “This publishing product is a powerful marketing vehicle to target the huge & growing market of soccer fans in the US, either in Spanish or English, using the two language-customized editions”, says Amelie Ferro, VP Business Development for Publicitas LHM.

The guide will consist of 240 high quality pages in a handy 9.5” x 12.5” format Printed on high gloss 85gsm paper with heavy stock metallic cover. It will include relevant and reliable information regarding teams, players, and schedules of the 2006 FIFA World Cup Germany™, with exclusive photography and articles from the best sports journalists.
