Heineken USA announced that Grupo Gallegos has resigned the advertising assignment for the Tecate Brand, ending their two and a half year relationship. The Tecate Brand advertising assignment includes responsibilities for Tecate and the new Tecate Light.
“We respect Grupo Gallegos' decision and we wish John Gallegos and his team continued success,” said Ken Kunze, chief marketing officer, Heineken USA.
“This decision to amicably end the relationship between Grupo Gallegos and Heineken USA is indicative of the respect we have for each other's organizations” said John Gallegos, President & CEO, Grupo Gallegos.
Heineken USA has begun a formal review for a new advertising agency to handle Tecate brand advertising.
