Daisy Expósito- Ulla, Chairman-CEO d expósito & Partners, became a recipient of The Excellence in Business Award from The Women's Chamber of Commerce of New York. The awards ceremony took place Friday, June 13, at a breakfast event at Central Park's legendary Tavern on the Green.
The “excellence award” is given by the organization to women whose impact in the fields of business, arts, sciences, etc. affect society in a positive way. Among previous Latino recipients is fashion designer Carolina Herrera.
Expósito- Ulla heads d expósito & Partners LLC, a recent newcomer to the U.S. Hispanic market arena, after having topped The Bravo Group and its admirable growth since its inception. Her new agency endeavor, long with a group of well-known associates, counts clients like Mazda, McDonald's and Novartis among others.
“I feel women's force and energy among my fellow awardees,” said Expósito-Ulla during her acceptance speech. “I join you in that same energy but I also want to celebrate the fact that, in my case, it is being proven once again that, fortunately, F. Scott Fitzgerald was wrong, and that indeed second acts are possible in America.”
Expósito- Ulla had been recently recognized by Latina Style Magazine at an event that took place last month.
