Perez named VP of Affiliate Relations for GLR Networks.

GLR Networks announced the return of Jimmy Perez as VP of Affiliate Relations for the Company.

Mr. Perez previously worked for GLR Networks from 2006 to 2011 as Director of Programming and Affiliations, overseeing the syndication of the network’s programming to U.S. Hispanic radio stations. During these years, he worked closely with the programming department and was involved in the development of various new shows. Jimmy Perez will now combine his duties at the Affiliation department with the new responsibilities as head of the Company’s affiliations team.

Jimmy Perez will report to Luis Gutierrez, Vice President of Advertising Sales for GLR Networks.

Prior to making his return to GLR, Mr. Perez had over 21 years of experience in the radio industry. He began his career as Production Director in 1992 with Entravision’s San Jose, CA stations KLOK/KBRG. He was promoted in 1994 to Asst. Program Director, responsible for all on-air talent, production & programming departments. Then he worked for Futbol de Primera, where he was responsible for affiliate relations and the assembly of the radio network lineup.

“Jimmy’s knowledge and experience in the US Hispanic Radio Industry and his daily contact with radio station affiliates make him the best VP of Affiliate Relations for a content production and distribution company like GLR Networks”, stated Mr. Gutierrez. “He knows what listeners and radio stations are looking for and will work for GLR Networks to be the best service provider to satisfy those needs”, Mr. Gutierrez added.
