Centroamerica TV secures U.S. Pay-TV Rights to air 2014 Salvadorian Professional Soccer League Season

Centroamerica TV has reached an agreement with the leading Salvadorian television network, “Telecorporación Salvadoreña,” to secure pay-tv rights to the 2014 Salvadorian Professional Soccer League season, “El Campeonato de Apertura 2014,” which runs from August through December. Centroamerica TV will air exclusively the most important game of the week during the regular season. Coverage will also include Semi-Final and Final games, beginning in December. The first match between Aguila and Isidro Metapan will air live on Saturday, August 9, at 9pm ET/6pm PT.

The Salvadorian Professional Soccer League (Primera Division de Fútbol de El Salvador, in Spanish) features ten teams from El Salvador, among them the popular Aguila, FAS, Alianza, and Isidro Metapan teams, made up of some of the biggest Central American soccer stars. Fans can watch their favorite players take the field, including Gonzalo Daniel Mazzia (Argentina), Nicola Armando Muñoz (Panama), Jesus Daniel Toscanini (Uruguay), and Gilberto Arnulfo Baires (El Salvador).
