Gillespie – EVP and Chief Revenue Officer of ZGS Communications announces retirement

Mike Gillespie announced  his retirement from ZGS Communications as Executive Vice President/Chief Revenue Officer.  He will work closely with Ronald Gordon, Chairman and CEO of ZGS, to insure a smooth transfer of his duties and responsibilities, which include leadership of the national, local and digital sales teams.  His most recent initiatives included integrating new sales tools and training programs for the teams across ZGS, with some very positive results.

Mike Gillespie has had over 34 years of experience in the Broadcast Industry and a significant amount of that career was spent in Hispanic TV. Prior to joining ZGS in 2007, he worked for the Telemundo Network as Vice President of Sales and played a key role in many network specials, sales programs, and initiatives. He started his Telemundo career in 1988 with the New York office, handling such key accounts as Procter & Gamble, Kraft, and Ford. “It is with an enormous amount of pride and satisfaction that I hand over the revenue operations during a time of strong sales growth and high performance”, Gillespie noted.

“I want to thank Mike for his many years of leadership and service to our company.  He is both a pioneer and veteran of the Hispanic broadcast industry and we have benefitted greatly from his insight and experience” commented Ronald Gordon.  “Mike taught and mentored many of our young account executives and managers over the years; their dedication and passion for our business is part of his legacy.  All of us at ZGS want to wish Mike a very well-earned and enjoyable retirement.”
