Oldenburg joins Telemundo News in Las Vegas

Telemundo Las Vegas announced that Frederik Oldenburg has been named sports anchor for “Noticiero Telemundo Las Vegas” at 6 PM and 11 PM. Oldenburg, whose first day on air was Monday, August 11, joins news anchor Beatriz Moncayo and weather anchor Leticia Castro and an enterprising team of reporters to deliver breaking news and up-to-the-minute information about issues affecting the Hispanic community in the Las Vegas area.
 
“We are thrilled that Frederik is now a part of our Telemundo Las Vegas news team,” said Ramiro Lopez, Station Manager for Telemundo Las Vegas. “Frederik’s extensive experience in reporting sports for Spanish-language viewers, coupled with his vibrant and meticulous reporting style, will be an asset to our team and a benefit for our viewers who are looking for detailed news reports about the teams and leagues they are following day in and day out.”

Prior to this position and since 2009, Oldenburg served as host and reporter for “Anótala,” a sports debate-style news program for Canal Plus Entertainment in Caracas, Venezuela. Additionally, Oldenburg worked as a sports opinion writer for Suite 23 Magazine from 2009 to 2012 in Venezuela. Before this, Oldenburg served as morning and daytime producer for Canal I TV in Caracas from 2007 to 2008. He also worked as a producer for “El dia D” at Radio Empresa 96.3FM in Caracas from 2006 to 2007.
