Provenza named Sports Anchor for Noticiero Telemundo Denver

Telemundo Denver / KDEN announced that Erasmo Provenza has been named Sports Anchor for Noticiero Telemundo Denver, which airs weekdays at 4:30 PM, 5 PM and 10 PM. Provenza, joins News Anchors Pamela Padilla and Carlos Rausseo, Weather Anchor Ariel Rivera Vázquez and an enterprising news team to help deliver sports and local news and up-to-the-minute information that affects Spanish-speaking viewers throughout Denver and the state of Colorado.

“With Erasmo’s vast experience in the sports arena, Noticiero Telemundo Denver will take the sports coverage to a level that has never been seen before in Spanish-language television in Colorado,” said Pedro Calderón Michel, News Director, Telemundo Denver.

Provenza joins Telemundo Denver from Meridiano Television in Venezuela, where he worked as a Sports Anchor covering national and international sports tournaments since 2007. He also worked as Communications Manager for professional Venezuelan soccer teams, including Real ESPPOR. Prior to this, Provenza worked as an Anchor and Producer for Planeta FM Radio Station in Caracas, Venezuela, producing shows such as SinFlash Radio and Planeta Fútbol Club from 2004 to 2009.
