Rosario joins Telemundo 47 in NYC

Telemundo 47 New York / WNJU announced that Nilda Rosario has been named Anchor for Noticiero 47 Fin De Semana on weekends at 5:30 PM and 11 PM. She will join Co-Anchor Yaima Crespo, Weather Anchor Janice Bencosme and a dynamic team of reporters to deliver local breaking news and the latest information about issues affecting Spanish-language viewers in the New York Tri-State area. Additionally, Rosario will work as a General Assignment Reporter to support Noticiero 47 Telemundo on weekdays at 5:30 PM, 6 PM and 11 PM.

Rosario joins Telemundo 47 from Univision 41 / WXTV, where she worked from 2003 to 2015 in different roles of increasing responsibility. While at WXTV, she worked as a weekday weather anchor, weekend weather anchor and morning show traffic reporter. She began her journalism career at Univision Radio WADO 1280 AM in 1996 and worked as a copywriter production assistant, editor, news announcer and traffic reporter.
