Telemundo Denver promotes Hierro to Multimedia Journalist

Telemundo Denver / KDEN announced that Corina Hierro has been promoted to multimedia journalist. Hierro, who joined Telemundo Denver in 2015 as a freelance editor and most recently worked as a production assistant, will make her on-air debut on May 1 and will join news anchors Pamela Padilla and Carlos Rausseo, as well as sports anchor Erasmo Provenza. Hierro will report for Noticiero Telemundo Denver which airs on weekdays at 4 PM, 4:30 PM, 5 PM and 10 PM. The station’s live, locally-produced newscasts deliver local breaking news and real-time weather information to Spanish-speaking viewers throughout Denver and Colorado.

 An award-winning journalist, Hierro has been recognized with two Colorado Broadcaster’s Association (CBA) awards for the last two consecutive years in the category “Best Breaking News Coverage Under Deadline Pressure.” She is also a member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists.
