AARP scores Social Media Award at LATISM (Latinos in Social Media) Conference

As part of LATISM’s The Best of the Best in Cyberlandia 2014 annual conference in Los Angeles, AARP scored an award as Best Health Partner reaching Latino(a)s through Social Media.

“This award is a source of great pride for AARP. It is another example of our ongoing dedication to improving people’s lives, in this case through using social media.  We are committed to providing resources and information on the issues, such as health, that affect the Hispanic community most,” said Lorraine Cortés-Vázquez, Executive Vice President of Multicultural Markets and Engagement at AARP.  “As we continuously strive to innovate in the digital field, we are proud of the work d expósito & Partners has been doing, allowing us to effectively engage with our 50+ Hispanic demographic through multiple channels,” added Cortés-Vázquez.

“We are honored that our client, AARP, received this recognition from LATISM, an authority on engaging Hispanics through social media,” said Daisy Expósito-Ulla, Chairman/CEO of d expósito & Partners. “This award reflects our agency’s commitment to creating dynamic, relevant Hispanic communications strategies that evolve to the fast-changing digital and social media landscape,” added Expósito-Ulla.

d expósito & Partners, AARP’s agency of record for the Hispanic market, credits this achievement to a strategy that reflects and highlights AARP’s benefits through social media activation in the health category.
