Monday Night Football Kicks Off on ESPN Deportes

ESPN Deportes will present live coverage of 17 regular season Monday Night Football games, a Wild Card playoff game and the Pro Bowl. The season kicked off with a doubleheader Monday, September 11 – New Orleans Saints at Minnesota Vikings (6:55 p.m. ET) and Los Angeles Chargers at Denver Broncos (10:15 p.m. ET). In addition to MNF, ESPN Deportes will air a Wild Card playoff game and the Pro Bowl. In addition, in an effort to serve a broader Hispanic audience, ESPN Deportes’ Spanish-language presentation of Monday Night Football will simulcast the first nine weeks (ten games) on ESPN2.  
 
Alvaro Martín will provide play-by-play for MNF on ESPN Deportes alongside Super Bowl XXI champion Raul Allegre as analysts and John Sutcliffe as onsite reporter.  Each presentation of MNF on ESPN Deportes will be preceded with an NFL Esta Noche pregame at 8 p.m. ET, hosted by Eduardo Varela, Pablo Viruega and include onsite reports from John Sutcliffe.  In addition, ESPN Deportes’ weekly show NFL Live returns every Saturday morning at 8 a.m. ET. .
 
MNF Spanish-language presentations will also be live-streamed via the ESPN App to fans who receive their high-speed Internet connection or video subscription from affiliated providers can access content on computers and tablets, as well as via radio on ESPN Deportes Radio with Kenneth Garay and Sebastian Martinez Christensen as the lead commentator team. Radio coverage will be complemented with dedicated segments on ESPN Deportes Radio’s daily talk shows, Firma ESPN from 6 a.m. ET – 9 a.m. ET and Zona ESPN from 1 p.m. ET – 4 p.m. ET.  In addition, El Ultimo Pase NFL, ESPN Deportes Radio’s NFL-centric radio show, will air Friday nights from 9-10 p.m. ET, Saturday mornings from 9-10 AM ET, and Sunday afternoons 12-1PM ET, prior to the Sunday game throughout the year. Zona ESPN, the multi-sports show, will feature daily NFL information and debates on Mondays and Fridays, from 1 p.m. ET – 4 p.m. ET, as well as in SportsCenter updates. In addition to MNF, ESPN Deportes Radio will broadcast Thanksgiving games, the NFC Playoffs and Super Bowl LII.
