Telemundo presents “LA ALFOMBRA DE LATIN AMAS” andD “LATIN AMAS: ACCESO VIP”

Telemundo announced exclusive coverage surrounding the Latin American Music Awards (Latin AMAs) 2021, with two special programs around the highly anticipated awards show. “La Alfombra de Latin AMAS” will air live on Thursday, April 15 at 7pm/6c, and will showcase the glamorous arrival of the stars on the red carpet. The special, “Latin AMAS: Acceso VIP,” will feature exclusive behind-the-scenes sneak peeks from the awards show and will air on Thursday, April 15 at 11:35pm/10.35c.

Telemundo will also offer extensive multi-platform coverage of all aspects of the event. The Latinx Now! team will be present during the three days of rehearsals to interview the artists and get the latest details about their performances. In addition, the singers will share the secrets behind their respective talents during “Cocinando con…,” a new digital franchise where artists will teach fans how to perform some of their best skills, whether it be dancing, composing, singing a style, and more.

“La Alfombra de Latin AMAS” at 7pm/6c, will shine as the stars walk down the red carpet with their exclusive designer outfits. The special will be hosted by Mexican regional singer Ana Bárbara, presenters Carlos Adyan (En Casa con Telemundo), Jorge Bernal (Suelta la Sopa), and Rodner Figueroa (Al Rojo Vivo), actor Vadhir Derbez, and model and host Zuleyka Rivera (El Domo del Dinero). In addition, the red carpet special will also feature performances by Cali y El Dandee, Emilia with Alex Rose and Chesca. The exciting musical performances, fashion, artist interviews and unexpected interactions among the stars make “La Alfombra de Latin AMAS” a must-see event for fans.

In addition to the television special, fans will also enjoy live digital coverage from the carpet with the one-hour “El Preshow” hosted by Nastassja Bolivar, Alix Aspe and Alfredo Lomelli. The broadcast will take place on April 15 beginning at 7 p.m. ET via Twitter and Facebook at @LatinBillboards, @LatinxNow and @Telemundo, on the Telemundo Entretenimiento YouTube channel, as well as the Telemundo App, and will offer viewers live interviews with top stars, red carpet fashion, and much more.

To cap off the big night, after the awards ceremony, “Latin AMAS: Acceso VIP” will take viewers on a behind-the-scenes journey of what goes on with the stars during the awards show. The special will be hosted by Ana Jurka (Titulares y Más/En Casa con Telemundo), Carlos Adyan and Rodner Figueroa, who will capture the most surprising moments that happen behind the scenes as the artists react after performing their hits or winning awards. The “Acceso VIP” hosts will be in prime backstage locations to bring viewers the action, interviews, and highlights of the night.

The Latin AMAs will present a star-studded list of stars that will come together to perform LIVE on Thursday, April 15 starting at 7pm/6c on Telemundo from the BB&T Center in Sunrise, Florida. The event will take place while following the most stringent safety protocols to protect the health and safety of all involved.
