Lascano named Manager of Cleint Services at The Weinbach Group

Miami based The Weinbach Group announced the addition of Claudia Lascano to its professional staff, where she will serve as manager of client services. In her role, Claudia will manage client accounts, plan and execute campaigns, and collaborate with the agency’s senior leadership on overarching marketing strategy for clients of the marketing communications firm.

The Weinbach Group, originally founded as a Miami public relations firm, recently added a number of major accounts to its roster, including the pharmaceutical brand, Xepi™, which the agency launched in November of 2018. Claudia has already taken the helm for the Xepi account, and she has also assumed responsibility for the Insurance Trust for Delta Retirees, another new addition for the healthcare advertising agency.

Immediately prior to joining The Weinbach Group, Claudia was part of the marketing team for IKEA Miami where she concentrated on store-wide promotional campaigns including events.

She has a long history in the communications industry and has worked on both the client and agency side of the desk, as well as for media outlets, including The Miami Herald Media Company and MTV Networks Latin America.

“We’re a busy shop with a dynamic group of clients,” said Daniel Weinbach, president and CEO of The Weinbach Group. “So we needed someone with Claudia’s experience who could immediately jump in and meet the complex needs of the company’s and organizations we serve. In addition, we recognized she had the personality to gel with the diverse group of clients with whom she would be working closely on a day-to-day basis.”

“Claudia’s background encompasses many aspects of marketing communications, and she has expertise from lots of industries,” added Meieli Sawyer, director of communications at The Weinbach Group. “She’s a hard-working team player and excels under pressure, which makes her a perfect fit for a full-service agency like ours.”

Claudia grew up in New York before relocating to Guayaquil, Ecuador where she attended the Tecnologico Espiritu Santo. Upon her return to the U.S., she attended Florida International University, where she studied business and marketing.
