To further strengthen its senior management team and provide additional support to its creative and marketing business unit, Leapnet, Inc., an Internet professional services company, announced the promotion of David Hernandez to Senior Vice President, Chief Creative Officer from Executive Creative Director.

In his new position, Hernandez will assume a lead role in the management and growth of Leapnet’s creative and marketing business unit. He will parlay his solid background in design, branding, technology and marketing to build fully integrated creative solutions for Leapnet clients – both online and offline.

As a key member of Leapnet since its inception in 1993 as a creative-focused agency, Hernandez’ vision helped fuel the creation of the company’s Internet development and marketing arm. Over the years, Hernandez has been deeply involved in acquiring and managing many of Leapnet’s high profile accounts, including American Airlines, Anheuser-Busch, MSNBC.com, Nike, Northern Trust and U.S. Robotics. Prior to Leapnet, Hernandez served tenure at J. Walter Thompson and DDB Needham, where he worked on some of the world’s most recognized brands, such as Bud Light, Kellogg’s, Kraft and McDonald’s. In addition, Hernandez has received recognition in leading award shows and industry publications, including The One Show, The San Francisco Show, The Chicago Show, The New York and Chicago International Film Festivals, as well as Print and Communication Arts Design and Advertising Annuals.
