Secret Antiperspirant To Build ‘Teen Esteem’.

Secret Antiperspirant announced its “Secret to Self Esteem: Teen Esteem Tour.” The tour, in partnership with YouthStream Media Networks, is designed to build teenage girls’ sense of potential, confidence and value.

Each stop on the Teen Esteem Tour begins on Friday with a classroom-based Self-Esteem Program at a local middle school. The curriculum for the program is centered around feminine strength in all forms: physical, mental and emotional. These concepts are reinforced in fun weekend mall activities such as a rock-climbing wall, special giveaways, and music and activity stations that encourage expression and creativity.

Celebrity role models, including Def Soul Records artist Christina Milian, are another highlight of the tour. Milian, whose hits include the songs “AM to PM” and “You Make Me Laugh,” will appear at five of the six stops to speak about dealing with the pressures teenage girls face every day and share Secret’s positive message. The 19 year-old entertainer, who has performed with *N SYNC and is currently performing with Britney Spears, is the perfect choice to target teen audiences.

“We began the Secret to Self Esteem Program four years ago with the vision of touching thousands of girls with an empowering self-esteem message,” explained AnnMarie Mingo, Brand Manager of Secret. “The program curriculum, combined with YouthStream’s ability to reach the youth market effectively, will help the Secret to Self-Esteem Program achieve its goal of making an impact in teen girls’ lives.”
