Telemundo – Heat & Rhythm @ Calle Ocho.

Telemundo Network captured the spirit and enthusiasm of the largest and street festival in the country. Headlining the best in Latin entertainment, Telemundo offered an unforgettable night from the famous 23 block event CALLE OCHO. The program was broadcasted to audiences throughout the U.S. as a 2½ hour special on Sunday, March 17, 2002.

Ascending the stage in Little Havana in Miami, a glittering lineup of top musical acts and celebrities entertained the crowd with their astonishing energy, enthusiasm and breathtaking talent. Hosted by Telemundo’s popular personalities Roberto Angelelli and Nadia Rowinsky, this incredible and exciting show commemorated Latino cultural heritage and traditions and brought together an astounding celebration the best in Hispanic entertainment.

The event featured this year’s “Calle 8 Queen” Giselle, as well as Melina León, Grupo Manía, Frankie Negrón, Milly Quezada, Luis Enrique, La Mosca, JYVE V, Oro Sólido, Carmen Jara, Sementales de Nuevo León, Rogelio Martínez and Cristian; as well as special appearances from Telemundo stars: Laura Bozzo, Miguel Varoni – “Pedro el Escamoso,” Catherine Siachoque, Lorna Paz, Natalia Ramírez and José Angel Llamas.
